Thiago (Thito) Camargo is a Brazilian pianist, composer, arranger and educator. He has a bachelor's degree in Popular Music from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) - Brazil, a master's degree in Jazz Performance from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, and is currently a doctoral student at the prestigious Frost School of Music - University of Miami, FL.

 

Thito was very involved in the music scene in Sao Paulo - Brazil, and the US, having performed and recorded in a variety of styles, including Brazilian music, latin jazz, American jazz,  pop, and funk.

As a sideman, he has collaborated with many musicians from Brazil and the US, including internationally renowned artists Christian McBride, Etienne Charles, Melton Mustafa Jr.,and Wayne Newton. As a band leader, Thito has performed and recorded with his Brazilian jazz trio, the Braza Trio.
